An intraoral camera is a small, pen-sized camera that captures close-up images of your teeth and gums in real time. During your exam, Dr. Adam Salm, DMD can guide the camera around your mouth and display what he sees directly on the exam room screen, so you're looking at the same picture he is rather than relying on a description alone.

What the Camera Shows

These photos make it easier to see details that are otherwise hard to notice, such as early wear, small chips, or areas of concern on a tooth surface. Because the images are captured live, they can be reviewed together during the same visit and referenced again at future appointments to track any changes over time.
